Ready for 2025?
Since 2008, Lawndale Christian Health Center and Lawndale Christian Fitness Center have hosted the Lawndale 5K walk/run to promote wellness in the community and bring people together for a day of fun. The event has become a fixture on the West Side, and this year we are excited to host the 17th annual race!
On Saturday, September 27th, 2025, the race will begin outside Lawndale Christian Fitness Center on Ogden and Ridgeway. There is also a virtual race option for those who can’t be there in person! The race will be followed by our Family Fest and awards ceremony.

The Mission
As a part of the Lawndale Christian family, Lawndale Christian Fitness Center shares the mission to show and share the love of Jesus in Lawndale and the neighboring communities. Through our fitness center, we promote healthy living that encompasses more than just physical fitness. We strive to be a community that strengthens and equips one another to be active, to be Spirit-filled, and to improve overall quality of life.
The proceeds of the Lawndale 5K are used to support our FitnessRx program, which provides free memberships for LCHC patients with a chronic illness. Together we build a stronger community one step, jog, and sprint at a time.
