FAQ

Q. How do i volunteer to help at the 5k?

A. You can register to be a volunteer by clicking ‘Register’ on the main menu and choosing the ‘Volunteer’ option.

Q. Can I bring my kids with me?

A. Yes! Youth ages 5-17 can walk or run the 5K at a discounted rate. Kids under age 5 can accompany you in a stroller during the race. After the 5K, we have our Kids Dash events for ages 0-12 for just $5 per child. We have a baby crawl for little ones who are not yet walking, and short sprints of increasing distance for ages 1-12.

Q. will there be high quality pictures available?

A. Yes, we will have photographers documenting the whole event. Photos will be available within the month following the race and will be shared on this website, on social media, and via email. View photos from past events here.

Q. Will the 5K be cancelled if the weather is bad?

A. The 5K will continue as planned, rain or shine! We do not offer refunds for weather-related cancellations. In the event of cancellation due to unsafe weather, we will notify registered attendees via the email address provided at registration.
*In 2016, our event was accompanied by a little bit of drizzle, but we still had a great turnout and a wonderful race! Check out this album to see pictures of this fun day.

Q. is any food provided on race day?

A. Included in your registration fee is a water and a small snack for the end of the race. Other snacks will be available during the Family Fest. You can also head over to the Green Tomato Café across the street, or check out the Farm on Ogden to get some fresh produce, juices, and other goods!
